HP PSC 2410 Multifunction Ink Jet printer Order Now

Nothing is more disappointing than things that don't work. Especially when said products are supposed to be a flagship product from a major manufacturer. Especially when you really depend on the thing for your small business. Especially when you can't get any reasonable level of support from the producer.

The HP PSC 2410 is a sexy little machine to be sure and it comes with great accolades and attributes; "It slices, it dices... and wait, if you act now, it'll bust out a six course meal at the press of a button..." Well, for months I gotta say this baby did not disappoint. It kicked out copies and prints and faxes and pretty good quality pix, all straight out of the box. But now? A couple of years into the relationship? I guess the honeymoon is over. Maybe we've just gotten too used to one another but even when I try all the sweet-talk in the world, I can hardly get ANY action these days from this thing. She just sits in the corner and makes funny noises and flashes incomprehensible hour-glass signals on her screen.

What have I done wrong? Did she see me and my "other" girlfriend at some point? Did she get mad that I let the dog into the office on a rainy day? Feel abused by having to print out yet another copy of my kids Peace To All The World essay? Whatever it is, I am SORRY. I just want her to work again. I just want to make a copy or print a simple document.

I've changed the cartridges, I've cleaned things, turned them off and on, pressed and held any number of buttons. Uninstalled, reinstalled drivers. I've danced, sworn, swooned.... nothing will bring this machine out of its funk. Well, in a few days she'll work again. For no apparent reason. I know, it's just our cycle now-a-days.

But ohhh, how cool it would be if our friends at HP had anything helpful to suggest when I call with questions. I've done all that they've asked. Twice. I've begged and pleaded. I thought, maybe it's just me. But then I look up "hp psc 2410 printer problems" online and I see that these very issues are incredibly widespread. People all around have serious problems with the machine and little to no help from HP.
